FOAM CEMENT

CELLULAR CEMENT
Foam cement, known also as cellular cement or cellular concrete (however not to be confused with autoclaved areated concrete) is a building material produced by mixing a cement slurry with a harmless foam. Cellular cement is a very light material and extremely versatile. Therefore, it finds its use in many fields of application. One of the most common uses of the cellular cement is as intermediate layer between the concrete slab and the screed, to compensate with low static load and to cover pipes and lines. Thanks to its lightness and to the closed air cells, cellular cement has also good thermal and acoustic insulating properties.

This lightweight and insulating properties make cellular cement suitable for covering large flat roofs (such as hangar, airport terminals, shopping malls, big residential buildings. Another typical field of application is filling of big cavities (e.g. underground storage tanks), trenches and voids. Road buildings, bridge abutment, extrados topping are other application of cellular cement.
K.G. Bontira is the most qualified manufacturer of mobile plants for cellular cement. Its mobile plants feature robustness, versatility, ease of use and high reliability.
In addition to the mobile plants on truck, K.G. Bontira produces mixing pumps with foam generators for making cellular cement from bagged cement.
K.G. Bontira gives technical consultancy to its customers for the most appropriate formulation of cellular concrete and delivers foaming agent, i.e. surfactants based on natural raw materials.
