PLM-AL is a mobile plant designed for the production and the application of pre-mixed self leveling flooring products, such as self-levelling anhydrite floor screeds, self-levelling cement screeds and levelling compounds
In the 19 m3 silos the dry pre-mixed product is loaded from the charging point at the plant, or from big bags through the opening in the roof, or pneumatically blown from a tanker. From the silos the screws convey the material to the mixing machine.

DESCRIPTION
CONTINUOUS OPERATION, TOTALLY AUTOMATIC
PLM-AL is available in two versions. The PLM-AL SMP is equipped with the continuous mixing pump m-tec SMP, machine of proven performances and reliability.
Also the PLM-AL L2 works continuously. However, the mixing occurs in a large stainless steel double helical ribbon mixer. The water quantity is set by means of a flowmeter to reach the desired flow. In this way the W/C ratio is kept constant.
The mixer is on load cells. The weight thresholds setting controls the plant operation. At the beginning of the job, the water and the cement enter into the mixer in the set ratio. When the weight reaches the lowest threshold, the mortar pump starts to run. The material weight in the mixer keeps increasing up to the maximum threshold. At this point the screws and the water pump stop, while the mortar pump continues to run. The material feeding starts again when the weight reaches an intermediate threshold, let’s say “working weight” and stop when the max weight is reached again. In this way there are always about 800 – 900 kg of material in the mixer, that continue to be mixed, with a retention time of approx. 5 minutes, while the mortar pump keeps working. If for any reason, the feeding of dry material stops, the pump works until the minimum threshold is reached and then stop, prevent the dry running.
HIGHER QUALITY
The advantage of this large mixing chamber is given by the longer and more efficient mixing, which ensures a higher homogeneity and gives to the admixtures more time to perform their effect. Particularly remarkable is that the desired flow is reached with a much lower water content. thus increasing the quality of the final product with less cracking and curling problem and higher strength.
If needed, the plant can control a further liquid admixture.
PLM-AL L2 can be equipped with the automatic dosing system for plastic fibers.
